The configuration of the system service of the Spam Assassin in a Box is done via the configuration file "Service.config".
On systems with Windows Vista/Server 2008 or higher, the configuration file is located at the following directory by default: C:\Program Data\JAM Software\spamd Service\Service.config On systems with Windows XP/Server 2003, the configuration file is located at the following directory by default: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application data\JAM Software\spamd Service\Service.config Below you will find all the relevant configuration options.
Avoid restart of Spam Assassin daemon (spamd.exe) if CPU load of the daemon is above the specified value.
This ensures that a restart isn't triggered while the daemon is processing mails.
Default: 50 Minimum: 10 Contains the parameters for executing the Spam Assassin rules update tool (sa-update).
The channelfile contains the servers that are used when updating the rule set.

Default: Defines that path of the Spam Assassin installation that is used by the service.
By default the Spam Assassin components are installed to the same directory as the service.
This can be changed by more experienced users if necessary, however, it is not recommended.
