The couple is usually notoriously private about their marriage yet, as so often happens on Howard Stern’s shows, Kunis offered some rare insight into the origins of their relationship.
Proving that life imitates art, Kunis said their relationship began soon after she finished her film “If we just paid attention to these movies we should know that sh*t like this does not work out in real life,” the 32-year old said.
So why did Mila Kunis and Macaulay Culkin break up?
There’s been rumors that Culkin, the “Home Alone” star, couldn’t deal with the rising popularity of Kunis, star of “That 70s Show” and a voice on “Family Guy.” But that strikes me as false.
Culkin has never been one of those me-me-me Hollywood types as a child star, he got a lot of the “look at me” stuff out of his system by slapping his face repeatedly on screen.
More likely is simply that these two are still young Culkin is 30, Kunis is 27 and they simply weren’t right for each other in the end.
This happens when you start dating young; Kunis was still in their teens when they got together, and Culkin had one failed marriage to Rachel Miner under his belt.
Undoubtedly their shared understand of the pressures of child star fame drew them together from the start.
